My littlest assistant

Great news! I've hired a new assistant- and she doesn't charge much! Just the never-ending supply of orange-juice, dresses, boo-boo kisses, and if it was up to her, ice cream! ;) Yes, you've guessed it- Emmie! This little cutie was SO excited that her & daddy got to come to a wedding I photographed! (View Tim & Ashley's wedding day here!) 

I also brought along one of my older cameras, and let Emmie take a few photos of the wedding day! As you can tell, she was THRILLED to be helping! 

I was a little nervous that she was going to get in my way, but she really did amazing! It helped that Michael, and other family and friends fed her, played with her, and danced with her! 

And of course, I got in some of the action!

Tim & Ashley: MacCallum More Garden Wedding, Chase City Wedding Photographer

Tim and Michael go waaaay back- their families have been best of friends and next door neighbors for almost 30 years! I was so honored when I got the call from Tim asking if I would consider shooting their wedding! Tim & Ashley are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet.  I'm seriously so sad they live so far away because I would love to see more of them! 

This was the dreamiest wedding! The MacCallum More Museum & Gardens is the perfect place for a garden wedding! It's located in Chase City, Virginia- and right off of Kerr Lake, where Tim's family has a beautiful house! We were so excited to go- Michael & Emmie came with me and attended the wedding while I  photographed it! We had such a blast and I am so excited to share some images from their beautiful day!!!

Aaron & Lauren

So excited to share these photos from Aaron & Lauren's engagement session! We headed out to Sierra Vista for these photos and had such a great time! Lauren brought along her beautiful daughter, Gianna- who served as my personal model... and assistant! Loved every moment of their engagement session and I am so excited for their wedding day- and lucky me... Lauren is getting Bridal Portraits done so I get to see her in her gorgeous gown before everyone else!! (ps- can you tell I LOVE Bridal Portraits!?! Aaron, Lauren & Michael used to work together a few years ago, and it's been so fun getting to know them better through their engagements and our dinners together.  We love engagement sessions so we can really get to know the couple and feel so comfortable on the wedding day! sneak peek: elyse & jonathan {winchester, virginia wedding}

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek you guys!!! I am so excited to share some images from Jonathan & Elye's wedding day! It was such a beautiful day- from the weather, to the friendships and this awesome bridal part, this gorgeous bride, the ceremony, this cutie couple, and the friends and family that surrounded this beautiful family! 

Jonathan & Elyse got married at First Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia! Such a beautiful church and then we walked around Downtown Winchester's outdoor mall area for some fun photos with Jonathan & Elyse and the bridal party until it was time for the reception at The George Washington hotel. 

Elyse was one of the most organized brides I've ever had and y'all know that is my love language!! haha. She had a great timeline & all of her family formal photos typed out! (Be looking out for a blog post on why I make all of my brides do this!!)  

Seriously Elyse!!!! SUCH a beautiful bride! 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE their fun send off! These are just colorful flower petals and they made for such an amazing exit!!
