Geoff & Genna: Afton Mountain Engagement at Blue Toad Cidery

Oh man did I have so much fun with Geoff & Genna at their engagement session! I think we spent most of our time together just laughing like the oldest friends! I cannot wait for their wedding this fall- it’s going to be so much fun!

We started their session including their sweet fur babies at her Mom’s house in Roseland, Virginia and then headed over to the Blue Toad Cidery- with the most beautiful stream and champagne toast! I am not lying when I said we had the best time! We chased the light and I shot her ring details after sunset! We had so much fun!

Oh I am so excited to share this sweet family with you today! The Bullocks are our neighbors and we are so excited for them as they have welcomed their sweet little guy into the family! He is so sweet and oh so precious! And their daughter is just THE best big sister! We had so much fun getting some updated family photos for them at The Trivium Estate in Forest, Virginia!

Sorella Farms Wedding in Lynchburg, Virginia || Gabe & Meghan's Central Virginia Wedding

Gabe & Meghan's Sorella Farms wedding day was so beautiful! It was a GORGEOUS fall day, the colors were starting to turn on the trees and their ceremony location overlooked the gorgeous mountains! Meghan is one of those brides that I wish I could clone. She's so sweet, super laid back, and truly lived in the joyful moments of her wedding day! 

Sorella Farms in Evington- right outside of Lynchburg- is such a gorgeous venue! Their Bridal Suite and getting ready room is the perfect space to hang out with your wedding party and get ready! Gabe & Meg's ceremony was STUNNING overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway! Right after the ceremony, the sky started turning dark gray and we quickly changed the timeline to get some photos of them together before it started to downpour. We moved SO fast and got through all of their couple portraits- just in time for the sun to come back out for family and wedding party portraits AND sunset photos with Gabe & Meg.  

Their reception in the Sorella Farms barn is gorgeous! Their reception space is so elegant and classy with draped white fabric, twinkle lights, and gold mirrors on the barn doors. It's gorgeous!

Rustic Backyard Wedding in Eagle Rock, VA || Shawn & Kelsey's Clifton Forge Wedding

Let’s talk about the perfect Fall wedding day that Shawn & Kelsey had! Oh my goodness! After what felt like weeeeeeks of rain, their wedding day was sunny and beyond beautiful! There was the beginning of Fall chill in the air, and it really was just the perfect day!

Their day began at the most beautiful Hill Crest Mansion Bed & Breakfast in Clifton Forge, Virginia, where Kelsey got pampered with a mimosa bar, hair, makeup, and celebrations with her bridesmaids! Oh the bridal portraits we got on the porch there are to.die.for! The Southern Charm, I am just obsessed!

Their ceremony and reception was held on Shawn & Kelsey’s Farm and property- and guys, let me tell you! It was BEAUTIFUL! Tucked away in the middle of Eagle Rock, Virginia- there are mountain views every way you turn! Their friends and family gathered together to celebrate with them and they had a party! SO.MUCH.FUN.

First Presbyterian Church of Danville and The Danville Golf Club Wedding || Josh & Nancy's Wedding

Josh & Nancy had such a gorgeous October wedding! Their day started at the First Presbyterian Church, where they had a classy ceremony and then they headed over to the Danville Country Club for dinner and a big reception. They had so many friends and family join them to celebrate the beginning of their marriage! After what seems like weeks of rain, it was the perfect day, gorgeous light, and overall the most fun day!

Nancy’s detail were simple, classic, and her dress was absolute perfection! Seeing her step into her dress with her hair and makeup done- goodness she was stunning! Everyone was speechless when she walked down the aisle!

After the ceremony, we explored a little in the downtown Danville area- and took some photos around the First Presbyterian Church and next door, at the Last Capitol of the Confederacy. We stopped by the HOME sign on the way to the reception, and then arrived at the beautiful Danville Golf Club.

The reception was SUCH a blast! SO many people dancing, laughing, and catching up! I love when you can just really tell how much a couple is loved by seeing how much fun their guests are having!

Congrats Josh & Nancy!! It was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day!!
