I have been SO excited for Noah & Allie’s wedding day- and it did not disappoint! We first met Allie years ago, when she worked at The Trivium and I was so honored when she asked me us to photograph her fall wedding!

All day long, we felt just like family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and it was just such a gorgeous day! Allie had such a fun first look with her bridesmaids, one with her Dad & Brother, and then a first look with Noah that was just so sweet!

Their entire day was filled with joyful laughter and celebration! It was such a blast to be a part of!! Congratulations Noah & Allie! We are SO thrilled for you two!! Thanks for letting us be there to celebrate and laugh with you! <3

Y’all! I am so excited to share Dusty & Heidi’s wedding!! Heidi owns The Trivium Estate, and has become a good friend over the years! When she reached out asking me to shoot their wedding, I was so honored!

Dusty & Heidi got married on the 4th of July, and carried the Patriotic red, white & blue theme throughout the day- in the most classy way! It was so fun to see her dusty blue dress and sparkly shoes, with the red bouquet! Just so stunning! And wait until you see the stunning cake!! Heidi made THE most stunning bride!

This was my first big wedding back after a pause from COVID, and I could not have had a better wedding welcoming me back into it! Their guests were all so happy for them, and had the best time at the reception! You could really tell how much these two are LOVED!

2019 Fall Mini Sessions || Family Photos at The Trivium Estate in Forest, VA

Now that Christmas Cards have been sent, I finally feel safe to share these photos! I hate to be the one that shares THE Christmas Card photo before the family gets to share them! In October, I hosted a fall-themed mini session day at The Trivium Estate, and oh my gosh, I love the final images so much!

I really wanted a neutral fall theme (no surprise there from this neutral-loving girl!) with whites, creams, sage greens, and slight touches of an orange! It turned out exactly as I was envisioning, and even though it rained that morning, the sun ended up coming out and we had a GREAT time! I can’t wait to make this an annual family photos event!

I’m playing catch up from the past few months of photos that I wasn’t able to share in the midst of my busy season! It’s so much fun to look over older sessions again!

I am SO excited for Noah & Allie’s wedding this upcoming Fall! I met Allie a few years ago at The Trivium Estate, and now it’s her turn & I cannot wait! Is she not going to make the most gorgeous bride or what?! For their engagement session, we had a gorgeous warm fall day, and met at The Trivium Estate in Forest, VA for their photos! I loved getting to know Noah more and chat upcoming wedding details and plans! Can’t wait for their big day!!

Just got engaged.... Now what?! Creating a Wedding Inspiration Board

Did you just get engaged?! Congrats!! I know you’re feeling so excited… but maybe also a little overwhelmed and don’t even know where to begin with planning your wedding?! Trust me, I totally understand! There are so many big decisions to be made, which can seem impossible when you aren’t even sure what direction you want to go in! Which is why, I think the very first step that can be SO helpful is to create an inspiration board for your wedding! A mood board is simply a tool to help you visually create your wedding day. Creating a wedding mood board will help you to zero in on your wedding aesthetic, nail down your details, and even your style!

This isn’t where you are making all of your final decisions, so don’t worry about stressing about the perfect bridesmaids dresses, but instead draw inspiration from other weddings and images that you love. From here, you’ll be able to discover your palette, style, and design details! This should be not only how you want your wedding to look, but also how you want it to feel!

Help everyone be on the same page. Wether you’re creating a tangible mood board or electronic, being able to share and show friends, family, planners, and wedding vendors, will help everyone see your vision and help you to execute it!
