I absolutely love engagement sessions, they give us such a unique way to really get to know each other, all while learning how a couple interacts with each other, posing they will use on their wedding day, and it really helps it sink in with couples that they are getting married!!

What a beautiful evening we had for Brian & Emily’s engagement session! We really had the best time- I think we laughed the entire night! We met out at Sweet Briar College- which is gorgeous anytime of the year- but especially in Fall! I cannot wait for their big day!!

Brian & Crystal: Lynchburg, VA Engagement Session

I think it’s safe to safe, it’s officially Fall, and while I always love summer, the cooler weather and engagement session season is welcome this year! Brain & Crystal are getting married at Atkinson Farm in Danville, Virginia this upcoming April, and I am so excited for it! These two are so sweet, and I cannot wait to celebrate with them! These two have known each other for pretty much their entire lives, and have been dating since their senior year in high school! So, you can say this wedding is a long time coming, which always means extra celebration!

We had a blast at their engagement session on the most perfect Fall evening- the weather was gorgeous, Sweet Briar College is always a favorite!

Back Bay Engagement Session || Brandon & Rachel's Virginia Beach Engagement Photos

Guys! I am so excited to be sharing Brandon & Rachel’s engagement session from Back Bay Wildlife Refuge! I sat down to edit a few sneak peeks and couldn’t even help myself- I ended up editing their entire session and cannot even choose a few favorites for social media! And we all know, I’m obsessed with beautiful weather, the sunshine, an amazing couple, and the beach, so this is was basically my dream!

I can’t even believe I’m admitting this, but I never once went to Back Bay the entire time I lived in the Hampton Roads area! It’s SO beautiful there, I am totally kicking myself for not making it a priority to explore and do more out there! But, that’s okay, because weekend visits and engagement sessions there can still happen!

I cannot wait for Brandon & Rachel’s wedding at Delfosse Winery in Central Virginia next June! It’s going to be here before we know it!!

Lynchburg, VA Engagement Session || Thomas & Logan's Lynchburg Engagement

These fall days in Lynchburg can be all over the place- one day it’s 60 and beautiful and the next it’s back up in the 80’s and SO humid. For Thomas & Logan’s engagement session, it was definitely the latter of the two, but we survived the heat and had a great time getting to know each other at their engagement session!

Thomas & Logan are getting married this December at West Manor Estate in the Lynchburg, VA area and I am super excited for their wedding day! And in December, I’m sure we will be wishing we were back in the summertime heat! ;)

Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session || Scott & Amy's Thunder Ridge Engagement

One of my most favorite things about living in Lynchburg, VA is just how close we are to so many amazing places- and the Blue Ridge Parkway is on the top of that list! Thunder Ridge is an overlook spot that is beyond gorgeous- I mean, those stunning views- and major perk- you don’t have to hike to get there! ;)

When I talked with Scott & Amy and they mentioned wanting mountain views and I knew Thunder Ridge would be perfect for their engagement session! These two are so sweet and I truly loved getting to know them both more before their wedding next year at Wintergreen Resort!
