Lynchburg, VA Photographer: Our Labor Day Weekend

We had the best time Labor Day weekend! Since Emmie started school last week (photos to come, of course!!) my goal has been to spend as much quality time with her as possible. The great thing about her being in school is I can get all my work done while she's at school, and then spend the evenings and weekends with her! It's like the life of a normal working mom! ;) almost.. ha. 

We had an amazing breakfast- IN BED- made by Michael! Me and Emmie snuggled and made tents in the bed, and he spoiled us and brought us coffee and breakfast.  The sweetest thing ever... all of us snuggling up together! We then headed out to the fountains downtown for some last days of fun in the sun! We brought a bathing suit but of course, she wanted to wear her 'america dress'.  haha

And of course, if there's a dog around, Emmie has to be petting it! ha 

We ended our day with homemade Mexican food (our favorite!!) and then hit up Mister Goodies for ice cream!

Orange, VA Wedding Photographer: Dave & Rachael

Oh my goodness you guys. I am so so so excited to share these images from Dave & Rachel's wedding! This wedding was easily my favorite wedding yet! It was a small, backyard, intimate feeling wedding at the Inn on Poplar Hill, in Orange Virginia.  Rachael quickly became an awesome friend- I am really hoping the military sends them to Lynchburg, Virginia next! ;) haha

Look at what a STUNNING bride Rachael is!! Goodness she made my job SO easy! :)

Sunset Beach Photographer: the last of the vacation photos ;)

Our last morning of vacation, after packing up our house, we ran down to the beach for some family pictures.  In my opinion, you can never have enough! ;)  We are so thankful my grandma took us on this fun vacation for the week! So fun to have her on the east coast from Arkansas! 

We are acclimating back to real life. Emmie keeps asking to "go back to her beach house." haha don't we wish!

Tessia made the most beautiful bride! We had such fun at their wedding yesterday, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share photos from her bridal session!! Thanks to the Trivium in Forest, Virginia for allowing us on their beautiful property!!

Sunset Beach Photographer: little blue bikini

Emmie sure loves her little blue bikini, and since she can't wear it to the pool we go to (one pieces only!) she wanted to wear it every single day at the beach! I was not going to argue! How cute is it?! 

These are some shots from another early morning, right before a storm was coming in, so the beach was even more peaceful! The gray moody skies totally got me! ;)  Emmie was SO brave this trip and wanted to "get into the big water" with me or Michael the entire time!
