Sunset Beach Photographer: Our Vacation

We had the best time on vacation in Sunset Beach, North Carolina a few weeks ago! We have been going to Sunset Beach for the past few years and feel that it is our little secret! We were so excited to be including my family this year! I took so many photos I'll be sharing them over the next few weeks! 

Emmie has this belief, if the sun is awake, she needs to be awake too. She thinks she is missing out on something apparently.  Luckily, a thing called blackout curtains exist and she sleeps until about 8:00am at home.  We didn't, however, pack those curtains for our beach vacation! (I am considering adding those to the list for next year!)  Emmie woke up about 6am every morning! But, to make the most of it, I grabbed my cup of coffee, camera, and took my sweet girl to the beach.  

There's something so peaceful about the beach in the morning. Practically no one is there, everything is clean and quiet! It's almost worth the lack of sleep... almost ;)

Lynchburg, VA Family Photographer: The Shaneck Family

The Shaneck Family was so fun to photograph! Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job?! These kids were SO well behaved! I couldn't believe it! I swear they must have bribed them with something good! ;)  They are expecting baby number 4 in just a few weeks... can you believe she is due in a few weeks?!

Ashley: Lynchburg Senior Session

I love working with seniors! They are so much fun- somehow we end up laughing throughout the entire session! Ashley was no exception! She is beautiful, laid back, and so sweet! We had a blast getting her senior pictures done! We started out at the Jamerson YMCA for photos by the pool! She is on the swim team at Brookville High School. 

We then headed down to Percival's Island for some natural photos.  She is adorable in her jeans and tee- such a down to earth girl! 

We of course got some with her Mom! You can tell right away how close they are- it's adorable! Love it!! 

Lastly, we went to the Hollins Mill Waterfall! I run this trail often, and always want to stop for photos!
