Our Snow Weekend- A personal post || Central VA Photographer

I had some seriously excited people in my house this weekend.  Michael & Emmie have been watching & praying for snow so they were THRILLED to see a storm on the radar last week. Meanwhile, I was stressing about the wedding planned for the weekend, but that all turned out okay! ;) 

Emmie COULD NOT wait to get outside, and as soon as we bundled her up (in every single shade of hot pink that exists!! haha!) she ran outside and plopped down into the snow to make snow angels! Her and Manning chased each other around and laughed a little too hard. No, seriously, too hard- it sucks to take all those layers for a potty break! hhahahaha!

Coleton & Elizabeth's engagement session || Downtown Lynchburg, VA Engagement Photographer

I looooooooove that I have some super awesome couples that are braving the cold and getting their engagement photos done this winter!! I was so excited to have our engagement session with Coleton & Elizabeth- when I first met with them a few months ago, it totally felt like I was catching up with old friends! They are the sweetest couple, are always laughing & smiling and so down-to-earth! What could be better!!?! 

We met up in downtown Lynchburg and got some photos on the streets in Lynchburg and then headed over to Percival's Island on the Blackwater Running Trails! 

Monique & Zoey's Snowy Session: Lynchburg, VA Photographer

Don't say I didn't warn you.. more snow pictures! And I am so excited about these! This family has been good friends with us for a while, but Zoey has NEVER wanted to take pictures for me.  And if she had to take a picture, she refused to smile.  ;) Well, she actually agreed to do some photos and even smiled for me!! 

Lynchburg, Virginia has a million places to do photos, even within walking distance of my house, which is amazing!! We went right around the corner and had fun in the snow! The wind picked up BIG TIME and it was seriously freezing, but these two had the best attitudes! Thank you Monique for climbing the hill and braving the cold snowy day for me!!

Macklin & Shannon Engagement || Central VA Photographer

How do I get so lucky?! I seriously get to meet the most amazing couples- and it's my job to hang out with them! I was seriously giddy meeting and getting to know Macklin & Shannon this weekend! They met me out at Boonsboro Country Club after Mike & Emilee's wedding. They were so laid back- with the wedding up in the air due to the weather, we had to move their engagement session date and time and play it by ear.  SO thankful they were so flexible with me in this crazy weekend! ;) 

They are such a cute couple- and they brought their cute puppies for some photos! Love having family pets involved! They are seriously part of the family!! They recently moved out to the Bedford and Central Virginia area for work, and are having their wedding at The Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg, Virginia this October! So excited for their wedding! She's going to make such a gorgeous bride!!
