I don't know about you, but I am so ready for Spring! I love Central Virginia because we get all 4 seasons- and I was so happy with our one snow storm, but when storm 2, 3, 4 rolled around... well, I'm over it!! I just wanted enough snow to get some photos in, miss out on a day or two of work, and be lazy, eat junky food, and drink coffee all day. (okay... so maybe I do that everyday- snow or not! ha) 

I had such a blast photographing Justin & Meghan's proposal- I was SO excited when the weather was warmer and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful sunlight for a quick Save the Date session! Lynchburg, Virginia has so many hidden gems- it's so fun to be able to explore and find these amazing places AND enjoy some beautiful sunshine! 

Sneak Peek! Jimmy & Kristi's beautiful Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding

Happy Saturday Friends! We are resting up after our sweet friends Jimmy & Kristi got married yesterday! Their wedding was at The Trivium Estates  and it really was absolutely beautiful. They were such troopers- it was a FREEZING day- we got hit with some nasty weather Thursday, but the snow made a beautiful backdrop!! I am so excited to share more soon- but in the meantime, here are a few from their special day!  

The Trivium did an awesome job setting up for this ceremony and then flipping it in less than 30 minutes for the reception! 

Nate & Chloe: Lynchburg, Virginia Family Session

These two cuties hold such a special place in my heart! I babysat Nate from the time he was 12 weeks old.. .and here he is 2.5! No matter how many times I tell them to stop growing up, they just keep getting bigger! I can't believe Chloe is over 6 months old now! But it's so fun and rewarding to have your kids and their friends growing up to these fun and energetic little people with oh so much personality! ;) 

Hard to believe that the weather here was nice enough for short sleeves just a few weeks ago! Now there's snow on the ground and temps have been hitting record lows. Oh Virginia!! But, I'll take the warm days- they help keep me sane until Spring comes for good! 

And since Emmie came along with me on this fun little shoot... I of course had to get a shot of these sweet friends! 

And.. I have to share this one! This entire shoot wasn't all smiles and giggles! Working with kids takes patience! :) 

I'm so ready for Spring and Sunshine now! Melt snow MELT!! 

Our Family: a Lynchburg, Virginia Snow Day!

Emmie has been praying "deep, deep snow and a blizzard" since Halloween. Every evening we lay her down and take turns praying, but her prayers have been the same.  So when we got our first big snow this year, we were all pretty excited for her! (and for the time off of work!) 

Alina Thomas Photography, another local Lynchburg, VA photographer and sweet friend volunteered to swap some fun snow day photos of our families! You can view the photos I took of her adorable family here! And I'm so excited to share these beautiful images she took of our family!
